Javier Lorenzo was born in Madrid and studied Journalism. He started out at the radio, on the SER channel, although he moved on to the written press where he still works. He has also worked as a scriptwriter for television. Author of La España hortera (Temas de Hoy) and Las guardianas del tabú, his first novel, El último soldurio, was very well received by readers, selling more than 50,000 copies over 8 editions.
